Tong-Tong Chinese Restaurant in Stow

This place used to be good this is the second time I have ordered and my food has been terrible! I don’t know if ownership changed but I would not recommend this place the food is awful!!!

My favorite Chinese place, always big pieces of meat and nice portions. Worth driving out of the way to get it

The water tasted bad, which is also the water they use in the tea. Crab rangoon was good. Pork was tough, the flavor was ok. I am not planning to ever return. Some of the reviews said that the food is great sometimes, we definitely went on a bad day.

Staff and food was amazing

I looked at their online menu and called them to ask what came with the general tso and she said fried rice and house egg roll, I thought that for $9.95 it was a good deal but when I got there I was told my total was $11.95 because I added house fried rice and egg roll, I disagreed and explained that I was told by the woman who took my order and he offered to take it off my bill but also had to REMOVE the fried rice and egg roll, this is very misleading on their part and I made that known. They just lost my business,be careful when ordering from the online menu.

Good food and good service. Quite atmosphere, I would definitely come here again.

We've been coming to Tong Tong since it opened almost 40 years ago We've always had great service and great food. This area has a few Chinese restaurants, but Tong Tong is still our favorite. Carry out is always quick and we've never had a wrong order.

Way over priced. Customer service would be nice... I ordered over the phone so when I walked in the lady said "pick up?", I said yes and gave her my card. She then handed me the receipt to sign and immediately walked away. Didn't even wait for me to sign! And there was a shrimp in the middle of my egg roll which I'm allergic to. Thank God I smelled something fishy before I ate it.

This is by far the best Chinese restaurant I have been to. Discovered it last night and loved the food. I am a vegetarian and sensitive to MSG. All the Chinese restaurants I have been to so far always caused me issues after I eat there. NOT this place !! Excellent food and a very well balanced flavor. Loved it so much went back there again today and tried a different dish and again totally awesome food ! Definitely will be back. I highly recommend this place.

Large portions and nice waiter. Tasted awesome! Iced tea...not great, but not disgusting either. Price reasonable.

This was a clean and friendly American-style Chinese restaurant. The food I and my friend received was substantial, especially for the low prices, and tasty, but definitely not up to the par of the Chinese restaurants in, say, Cleveland's Chinatown area, where the meals are more typical of native tastes. The rice wasn't really as fresh as it might be, and the chicken in the sweet and sour chicken was more like pieces from a frozen bag, coated in the same batter as a hot dog on a stick. BUT, the portions were large, and as I say, very American style. The egg drop soup was very tasty, thick, and as expected. I would go there again, but I wouldn't expect A+, but definitely would be satisfied with B+ or A-.

My husband and I have been going there for many,many years! I have never had a bad meal. The portions are huge, anfd all the meals we have had we delicious.

I can still feel the swollen joints from the sodium, but it was good.

This restaurant is the best takeout and delivery Chinese place in Stow.

Food took a bit to get to us. Had four people with me, we just ordered rice and egg roles.Food was ok , wait staff was very nice.

Worst Chinese food I've ever had. We got sesame chicken and chicken fried rice. The sesame chicken was like no other sesame chicken I've ever had-- that's not a compliment. Huge chunks of chicken in a brown sauce with vegetables shoved in a quart container. Was completely soggy and just tasted bad. ( You can get your sauce on the side, which is a weird thing, but I guess this explains why.) The fried rice was literally just stirfryed white rice with soy sauce, egg and dry hunks of chicken, no vegetables. Not even onion. Completely bland. I have no idea how it has 4 stars. It's not good.

Best Chinese food I've had in the area.

Great prices, delicious dishes, great selection, good service. I only had an opportunity to stop since it's near a job site I was working on, but I wish it was close to home so I could stop more often.

We had the General Tao chicken and fried rice. It was wonderful.

I order from Tong Tong on a WEEKLY basis,l because their food is so good and the price is right. However today I ordered general tso and the chicken was burnt. I called and the lady I spoke with made the comment "I watched him make the food it's not burnt" so she called me a liar AND hung up on me. I will never ever give them my business again.

Tong-Tongs has gone down hill over the past few years. Not sure how many cooks they have back there but their dishes are inconsistent. Like others have said, their water does have an odd taste.

This has been my favorite restaurant since childhood and I still enjoy it today. The sit down and carry out is very good. They actually make a lot of their sauces in the kitchen! My favorite is the dipping sauce for the egg rolls. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Food is ok. Like most Chinese restaurants. Water didn't taste well. Chemical tests to it. Bathrooms are something to be desired. There was a bucket ibder the sink in the men's room, per my husband. One stall in ladies room not working.

It is the best take out for an amazing dinner!

Tried the fried doughnuts . Basically a can of biscuits fried and covered in table sugar . some chocolate would have made itbetter

My family has been frequenting this restaurant since they opened up. This WAS my family's favorite spot for more than 30 years! Since new ownership has taken over it has gone down hill fast. Ordered pork fried rice that arrived bland and with no pork . The owner was rude and unaccomidating. Needless to say I will no longer be a patron of this restaurant. Don't waste your money it is not worth it!!!!!!

Nice cozy sit down place, great food, large portions. Easy take out. Never disappoints. A+

It was clean, the only reason I'm giving it two stars. My cold house fried rice had big junks of wilted lettuce in it, with cold chicken and shrimp pieces. My general Tso chicken was mediocre and the sauce on top clearly came out of a can a few months ago. Large portions, but I'd give that stuff away too..

Go somewhere else. Noodles were stale. Ribs were nubs of fat. Even the rice seemed stale.

My favorite Chinese restaurant! We’ll drive 20 minutes to get it even though we’re surrounded by others. General Tso’s and dumplings are my favorite 😋

Hot and sour soup excellent. Singapore noodles ditto. Rest above average.

Wasn't too busy for lunch. Quiet, inexpensive, and food was good. Will go again.
